I think this may be my favorite haiku comic yet. I liked the poem, and these were really lovely drawings, even the careful construction of the lettering. All the marks are so fresh and direct– not overworked, which can too easily happen.
Thanks again, Dale. You’re too kind. My idea for this comic series was definitely to try and make the strips as immediate and direct as possible. My inking always tends to suck the life out of my original pencil drawings thus I have chosen to avoid it entirely.
